Hook’d On Boat Rentals LLC is a family‑owned business built by a family of four who grew up right here in the Cochise County area. This lake has been part of our lives for as long as we can remember — from long days of shore fishing when our kids were little, to the excitement of purchasing our first pontoon boat and discovering the freedom of exploring the water beyond the crowded shoreline.
Over the years, the lake has given us countless memories: quiet mornings on glass‑calm water, sunset cruises, family fishing trips, and the simple joy of being outdoors together. Those moments inspired us to create a rental experience that lets others enjoy the same peace, comfort, and freedom — floating in the kind of easygoing luxury a well‑maintained pontoon boat provides.
As locals, we care deeply about our community and the people who share this lake with us. Our goal is to keep pricing fair for local families and visitors who love Patagonia Lake as much as we do. While we hope to keep most of our business right here at home, we may occasionally expand to Phoenix to keep the business thriving — but our heart, focus, and commitment will always remain with Patagonia Lake and the community around it.

Your Rental Experience
How It Works
- Book Your Rental-Select your lake location, and pick your date and time. After your rental is booked, we will provide you with the dock location for meet up. You can also add comfort upgrades like the misting fan, lily pad, towing tube, or ice chest during checkout.
- Complete the Renter Screening-Before your rental, you’ll fill out a quick screening form that confirms boating experience, safety awareness, and operator eligibility. This helps ensure every renter is responsible and ready for the water.
- Insurance Coverage-For the time being, all rentals are protected under Boatsetter’s commercial insurance program (Buoy), a trusted industry‐standard provider. This ensures every trip meets professional safety and liability requirements while we finalize procurement of our own standalone commercial policy. Using Boatsetter allows us to deliver fully insured, compliant rentals without interruption — keeping your experience safe, secure, and worry‐free. Boatsetter requires a standard deposit of $500, which will be refunded within 48 hours after the rental, provided the boat is returned undamaged.
- Check‐In & Verification-When you arrive, we verify your driver’s license and complete your rental agreement. We’ll walk you through the boat, equipment, and safety rules so you feel confident and prepared. We will answer to the best of our ability any questions you may have about the lake, fishing, or the boat. These forms will also be emailed to you beforehand so you may fill them out prior to the rental date, or a printed copy will be provided on the day of the rental.
- Safety Briefing-You’ll receive a clear, easy‐to‐follow safety briefing covering lake rules, no‐wake zones, life jacket requirements, and basic boat operation. This step keeps everyone safe and ensures a smooth experience.
- Enjoy Your Time on the Water-Once everything is complete, you’re ready to launch. Enjoy your day with comfort add‐ons, smooth equipment, and a professionally maintained vessel.
- Return & Inspection-Bring the boat back at your scheduled return time. We’ll complete a quick inspection, confirm equipment is accounted for, and check cleanliness. Any applicable fees or deductions are handled through your security deposit.
- Wrap‐Up-Once the inspection is complete, your deposit is released (minus any deductions if needed), and your rental is officially closed out. Please Note Boatsetter will refund your deposit within 48hr after rental.
